Blog
I love photography. I really, really do. So every once in a while I get out there and shoot something that I find beautiful. Thanks to Richmond and living in a whole new area, I am having a lot of fun. So here you will find those photos.
Amber in Shockoe Bottom
I had the opportunity to shoot some photos for a model’s portfolio today and boy am I happy with the turn out! She is new at modelling but that didn’t show in any of her photos. Thanks Amber for the great experience!
At The Race Shop
Some of my most favorite things are cars and racing. I actually met my boyfriend at a racetrack! On top of families and dealerships, I also shoot motorports events and basically all things cars. My boyfriend was working on a race car the other night so I took my camera along and got some good photos.
1941 Cadillac Limousine
For my day job, I am a photographer for a car dealership. So I get to see a lot of different cars everyday. But one car I see everyday is this 1941 Cadillac limousine. It sits just outside my office and one day I was just bored enough to take some pictures of it.
Caitlin, The Ham
My boyfriend’s daughter is a total ham and I love it! Because of work, I have my camera on me everyday so I took advantage of that and shot a few photos of her in Grandma & Grandpa’s backyard.
Niagra Falls
For the Fourth of July, my boyfriend and I drove up to his aunt’s house on Lake Erie. I’m loving living on the East Coast because I am going places that I never thought I would ever see! It was the day before the fourth and my boyfriend says, hey let’s go to Niagra Falls! I didn’t even know it was an option. So we hopped in the car and made it there in about an hour or so. I took every spare moment to take a picture but I’ll spare you and only show you a couple. I am so happy I got to go. It really is amazing.
Good Morning, Richmond!
Every morning I wake up, shower, and go into the living room and open the shades to our gorgeous view. But this morning, in particular, it was begging to be photographed. So I obliged.
Beautiful Richmond
I’m from Southern California, Santa Barbara to be exact, so we don’t have a “city”. I think their tallest building is 5 stories and that’s the old Granada Theatre on State St., our main drag. So when my boyfriend and I decided to find a way to the roof of our new apartment, I almost passed out from the sheer beauty of the Richmond skyline. I had my camera with me, after all, that was the point of this mission. I took these when we first moved in. I even matted and framed these two shots and have them hanging on the wall above our TV so we can see the view everyday!
